Mr. Drain and I have been getting along pretty well. I still haven't looked under my arm, and I don't think I will until after 'he's' out. My range of motion in my arm is really good considering - I even was able to blow dry my hair this morning.
I am trying not to let my mind think too far ahead. I am notorious of doing this, so I am sure this is one of the main lessons I am being taught. I am praying the pathology report comes back that the surgeon removed everything that she should have, and that the nodes were not affected.

Hey Brenda, you look great! I have been thinking about you, and thought of a verse in the bible that may help you during this journey. I first heard it at the womens retreat we all went to years ago...
2 Chronicles 16:9;...For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.
I see our Lord with his eyes focused on you! He is there for all your needs; as are your friends and family. I hope you have a peaceful day:)
Hey Brenda,
You look so great in your picture, you're always on our minds...
Hi Dear Mom Wilson here. You look wonderful. I took the liberty of passing on your blog address to others who have asked about you, and are praying for you and Carman. We know that our God is big enough to carry you along and we trust that His plan is perfect. We love you Heather
Hi Brenda,
We had a call come in to the church that I work at last week, wondering if, "we as a church could pray for 'Brenda' my niece who has cancer." Of course we would pray for her. Then at our weekly staff meeting Neila Lehman was praying for Carman (the husband of Brenda) to have strength to get through what he needed to. In mind I put the two together...Carman and Brenda...Carman and Brenda!! I know them...
We wanted to say that this road that you are being asked to walk down is not an easy one...BUT there will NEVER be a time when the hand of our Savior won't be with you. Our prayers rise for both of you...
You've been in our prayers and will continue to be! Heather passed on your blog address, so we'll keep up with what's going on. God be with you. Dave, Mary, Ian, and Ezra
Hi Brenda,
You look really good! We are happy that you are holding fast to God and know that he is so happy with you :)
Kade wants to visit his Aunty Brenda, would the 20th weekend work?
Brenda & Carman,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you these days. They say attitude is everything and your attitudes are an inspiration for anyone going through difficult times. We think of you everyday and pray for you every night. Stay strong.
Travis & Loranne
Hi Brenda,
Seeing your smiling face put joy in our hearts. We too have shared your progress with those who have asked about you. Ken and Neila Lehman were with us on the 27th of August when we were awaiting more news from you and they joined our family in prayer that evening. Your story and your desire to praise God through the storm has been inspirational for us and others. We will continue to lift you and Carman up daily petitioning for your complete healing and praying that "God our Father encourage you and strengthen you in every good thing you do and say". 2 Thessalonians 2:16. Sending love, Darryl, Lita, Austin, Emily, Jonathan and Brianna
Hi Brenda,
I hope you feel better and that all the cancer is gone. I can't wait to see you again and I can't wait for you to do my hair again.
love Emily
Hi Brenda, I'm so sorry to hear about what you've been going through. I'm also really proud of you though - you are such a tough Camrose girl! You've been in my thoughts a lot since I got your email. Keep your chin up, Meredith.
Praying with you, girlfriend!
Hi Brenda,
